My Approach

Trauma Recovery Coaching is a client-led modality.  Coaches make suggestions, educate, and offer guidance and are never in charge of leading our client to healing.  The intra-developmental work we do builds healthy relationships so clients can learn to have a healthy relationship with themselves.  Meeting my clients where they are in their journey is the perfect place to begin. I can help by creating new patterns, setting goals, and beginning to help craft the map that brings each client closer to leading the life they want to live.  One of my favorite aspects of this work is I get to share my own personal experiences and this is often healing in and of itself because when we share pieces of our own journey often we no longer feel alone in our own.  Helping clients identify their primary lies/core beliefs and where they came from, whether it is a

family member, enabler, or abuser is the first step to defining new, healthy beliefs for which to cultivate a healthy relationship with our own inner voices.  Building a healthy view of ones self is a compass leading to a healthy place where all emotions can be experienced, communicated, and shared in a way which promotes connection.  This is a cyclical journey with many twists and turns.  I look forward to celebrating your progress each step of the way and helping teach each client how to be their own best guide.   One of the most important lessons I've ever learned is even though we are all our own guides, there is no reason to have to captain our ships alone.
